It's Not Easy Being Green

Decided to wear my rather Kermit-colored Anthropologie top today. I got it last month at Goodwill, and I have to say, I'm rather pleased with it! 

I love the crochet pattern at the top. :)

Rust and Blue

I love this color combination. The first two photos kind of bleached out the actual color of the skirt, but it's a light baby blue that just works wonderfully with the rust colored top. 

Also, I can't tell you how excited I am about the fact that it's almost the weekend. I'm so sleep deprived that it's not even funny. I could probably sleep for days on end right now. One more day!

Got these lovely brown weaved flats the other day, because I'm always on the lookout for cute practical walking shoes, considering how much walk during the school year. 

Also, I love this Anthro dress so much. I've worn it at least 5 or 6 times since I bought it last month. It's just such a perfect casual dress. They also priced it as a shirt at Rugged Wearhouse, which is a plus for me. :)

I gave this headband to my sister a few weeks ago because I never wear it. Of course after that I decide I want to wear it...why does it always work like that?

Crazy Pants

I found these pants a few weeks ago at Rugged Wearhouse. They're a pair of knife-pleated palazzo pants from Anthropologie. I love them, but at the same time, I'm hesitant to keep them because they're just not very practical for wearing during the school year with my incredibly unclassy but entirely necessary backpack. Thoughts?

 I haven't worn these lovely oxford heels in ages! It's a shame how we sometimes forget about the wonderful things we have just sitting around in our closets and get caught up in finding more things to buy. I had a lovely lunch date with friends to attend today, so I decided to dress up and put them to some use, and also debut one of my new Anthropologie skirts as well.

I don't know if you guys recall this haul post from last year, but I had the luck of wandering across some Anthropologie racks at Rugged Wearhouse. It happened again. This time I got 9 items for about $100, and the original retail value of it all adds up to about $900. I'm so excited, everything is so cute. I will be keeping about half of this haul and the rest will eventually wind up on Ebay, because they're not all my size. So if you're interested, keep an eye out for them!

A few months ago I got a few really cute skirts, and I wanted to post them when time permitted. I got this one from Anthropologie on clearance for $19.95. It's the Pitter Patter Skirt by Maeve.

Finally back! I found this little gem on my trip, in an adorable consignment boutique:

I was hesitant to pay the $24 price tag but my gut feeling told me it was worth it. Which is why I was relieved when I made this little discovery upon returning home:

Evidently this is the Chroma Mosaic Shift dress from Anthropologie, sold in stores earlier this year. Originally retailed $138. The $24 price tag no longer seems so bad. :)

I Need A New Hobby. Or New Friends.

Okay, I don't really mean that, but really, if I keep going on shopping dates on the weekends I'm going to be broke and have more clothes to wear than days to wear them. Today I went back to Rugged with a friend, as well as to Goodwill. Here are my finds:

I picked up another Anthro dress (image D), this one was $248 originally. It's a size 0 and doesn't actually fit me, but I couldn't leave the store without it so it's actually for sale. Best Deal Ever

I've never liked Rugged Wearhouse. To me, its always looked a little sketchy with its handwritten signs and abundance of incredibly unclassy attire. But after a few successful shopping experiences such as the one from two days ago, I've had a change of heart. And as of today, I absolutely love it. A rack of Anthropologie dresses can do that to a person.

I purchased three dresses, and I looked them up online when I got home and found their original retail prices. As it turns out, all three dresses together are worth $498. I may or may not have gotten all three for $60 total. :) Here they are:

I am so so so excited about these finds. The first one has a really unique print with sparrows and deer on it, and the last one has eyelet cutouts and the back has a cute button up detailing.

Here's the catch...the reason why these gorgeous dresses ended up in a discount store. First of all, these are all last season (which makes no difference to me). Also...

• The first one I purchased has what seems to be an accidental cut on the right sleeve (can be easily sewn/fixed). 
• The second one has two small inkspot stains near the bottom of the dress, but they're both unnoticeable because they're on the lining layer.
• With the third dress, the scarf belt was missing. But to be honest, I actually like it better without the belt.

So there we are. My best good deals ever (at least to this day).

I actually got a couple of other things, at Rugged as well as Goodwill. But we'll get to that another day. This is enough excitement for one day, right?
